We may be biased, but qLegal alumni are the best!

Hear from some of our alumni in our new video, and find out ways you can keep in touch with us.

As it feels more important than ever to be in touch with old friends, qLegal reached out to its alumni to ask 3 simple questions: How are you doing? Would you like to stay in touch? And What would you like from qLegal? We were thrilled to hear from former students all over the world and even more thrilled that our alumni are keen to keep in touch with us and each other.

A key theme running through the responses we received was that alumni credited their qLegal experience with helping them further their career goals. We heard from an alumna who has set up her own lawtech business, having been inspired by the classes on entrepreneurship she delivered to school pupils under the qLegal StreetLAB programme.

Many alumni mentioned how their qLegal experience advising clients increased their confidence, as they were required to work to high professional standards in a new city, often with English as their second or third language. This boost in confidence enabled them to perform better at job interviews, landing them key roles; to develop careers in new areas that had previously been unfamiliar to them; and even to set up their own law firm. You can hear from some of the alumni directly as they recount their stories in this 5-min video.

It was just the impetus we needed to launch a new qLegal alumni network. As a start, we are inviting alumni to sign up to the qLegal LinkedIn account so we can stay in touch and send links to quarterly newsletters and other updates. We will also be setting up a qLegal alumni Chapter within the larger CCLS network.
